FLOWERX Florist of the Year 2027 Competition Rules

1. Organizer and eligibility
The competition is organized by S.C. Flowers Market Holland S.R.L. Entry is free, international, and open to people aged 18 or over who work professionally in floristry or floral design. One entry per person is permitted and a valid email address is required.
2. Entry and portfolio
The entrant supplies the requested details and 3–5 images of original work or work for which they had primary creative responsibility and the necessary image rights. Entry is confirmed by email and reviewed manually before publication. The organizer may request changes or reject, suspend, or disqualify an entry for breach of these rules, fraud, false information, or infringement of third-party rights.
3. Public profile and rights
After approval, the professional name, city, country, biography, and portfolio become public. Entrants retain ownership of their work and grant the organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and promote the competition, with author attribution where practical.
4. Awards and voting
The professional award is decided separately by the appointed jury. The People Choice award is based on verified votes confirmed after fraud review. One person may cast one verified vote in the competition. Technical signals may trigger human review and no entrant or voter is rejected automatically because of one shared IP signal. Results become official only after explicit confirmation and publication by the organizer.
5. Conduct and changes
Entrants must not manipulate voting, use false identities, or upload unlawful or offensive material. The organizer may correct errors or adapt the rules where necessary for fair operation; material changes will be communicated to entrants. In force majeure circumstances the timetable may change or the competition may be suspended.

7. Competition calendar
Registration opens at public launch and closes on 10 January 2027 at 23:59. Public voting closes on 17 January 2027 at 23:59. The jury reviews portfolios from 11 to 18 January 2027 to select 3 finalists. The 3 finalists are announced on 19 January 2027. People's Choice is announced on 24 January 2027 after organizer review and confirmation. The professional winner is decided and announced after the live final on 24 January 2027. All dates and times use Europe/Bucharest. FLOWERX takes place on 22–24 January 2027.
8. Confirmed prizes
The FLOWERX Florist of the Year 2027 professional winner receives Dinner with Preston Bailey access and full access to both FLOWERX Expo days. The People's Choice winner receives full access to both FLOWERX Expo days and a shopping voucher with a face value of EUR200 at Flowers Market Holland. Expo access is not issued twice to the same person if already granted as a finalist or for another award. The Flowers Market Holland voucher is issued and individually confirmed by the organizer with an audit reference; it is not a public discount code for FLOWERX tickets.
9. On-stage final
The 3 finalists selected by the jury from their portfolios must attend FLOWERX on 24 January 2027. They demonstrate their floral mastery simultaneously in a practical challenge on stage. The jury chooses the professional winner after this challenge; the portfolio ranking does not automatically determine the winner. Public votes determine People's Choice separately and do not decide the professional result. The time, theme, duration, materials and practical conditions will be communicated to finalists before the final. The challenge and winner confirmation will precede Dinner with Preston Bailey on 24 January at 20:00. Finalists receive Expo access once their selection is confirmed so they can attend the event; the additional professional prize is granted after the final decision is confirmed. People's Choice may be confirmed privately after voting closes and is verified so Expo access can be issued before the event; the public announcement takes place on 24 January 2027.
